Can Magrini baby changing units be fixed to a stud wall or do they need to be attatched to a brick wall?
Magrini units can be fitted to a brick or studded wall. Where a stud wall is used it is important to ensure at least one side of the unit is located on a stud. We DO NOT recommend fixing onto toilet or changing room cubicle walls. All recommended fixings are available free of charge from Magrini - DO NOT use less substantial fittings
What guarantees does Magrini offer?
Magrini warrants its baby changing units to be free from defects in materials and workmanship, under normal use and service, for one year from the date of delivery when installed and maintained according to Magrini’s instructions. This warranty does not cover disposable bed liners, product abuse and misuse, theft, vandalism, tampering, where units are subject to loads in excess of recommended maximum loads or improper installation. Magrini’s liability is limited to repair or replacement with respect to any claim.
Why do the MH42, MV64 and MC75 baby changing units NOT have straps?
The MH42, MV64 and MC75 baby changing units have been manufactured to meet the latest British and European standards.
The European standard specifically prohibits restraining harnesses in excess of 220mm. This is to avoid the danger of entrapment. Furthermore, the current standards committee are considering banning straps entirely to eliminate the potential hazard.
For this reason we decided we would no longer provide straps on our new models.
We have made the barriers deeper than the requirements so that there is no need for straps. The child should never be left unattended and straps do give the indication that you are able to leave/move away from the child when this is not the case.
